Boyd and Paul Moore

Boyd (left-7) and Paul (5) Moore were the two youngest children in Joe and Sara's family. Both were involved in a Childrens Day excercise at the Presbyterian Church in Villisca, Iowa on the night they, their entire family, and two visiting children were murdered. After church the family walked four short blocks in the dark to their modest home on East 2nd street. The family enjoyed cookies and milk before retiring and left their shoes at the foot of a small winding staircase. The boys shared the same bed upstairs and were struck with an axe while they slept.
