Nebraska Humanities Council event ~ Crossing State Lines: Nebraska's Role in the 1912 Villisca, Iowa Axe Murders. FREE and open to the public.
A screening of a portion of Villisca followed by a panel discussion highlighting Nebraska's role in the Villisca murder story.
Panelists include historian Dr. Edgar Epperly from Decorah, Iowa; historian Laureen Riedesel from Beatrice, Nebraska; Betty J. Davis, Executive Director of the Douglas County Historical Society in Omaha, Nebraska; and filmmakers Kelly and Tammy Rundle from Los Angeles, California.
